SUMMER OF THE ALIENS
Read through Act One, Scene 7. You will be divided into 3 groups according to the 3 main characters: Brian, Lewis and Dulcie. Discuss and write up the objectives you see in the scene for these characters. You must examine the scene from moment to moment and name the objective by using verbs and adverbs. Remember that objectives can intensify and weaken and these also need to be indicated. I've done the first one for you:
LEWIS: He thinks Pisano is an idiot and he makes light conversation with Brian, but he really doesn't want to be there because of what he's asked Dulcie to do. So his objective is to find a distraction (Objective #1).
